I once read that, goals, aren’t ever to be achieved. They are meant to be milestones. It was such an interesting concept to me because I have always wondered if I’ve been setting such small goals for myself.

I wanted to become an executive director by the time I was 30. I was a year late, when I had an opportunity but I turned it down because it would have required me moving, which my partner was unwilling to do.

Instead goals are supposed to be tied to your vision of who you are, what you want to be known as, and what you want to do in life.

The founder of Amazon also stated that all the important life decisions he has made were with his gut, his heart, and how he felt as all the data in the world cannot help you.

It was such an interesting premise.
