I just read Rachel Turner’s Human First book…. and I was so disappointed. Instead of getting nuggets out of the book, there were no quizzes that helped you to determine if you were a visionary, a conductor, a nurturer, or an analyst… instead it was… excuse me… no different than a long blog about the rantings of a woman going through emotional trauma and the loss of a very dear person.

My issues with the book, aside from not focusing on tangible of her program and how to identify as a specific leader or giving good concrete examples… was that it focused on the things that don’t matter.

This book was like a diary… it only made sense to the reader. It wasn’t cohesively put together. Examples were needed and focused so much on her… I think her messages got lost a lot of the times.

However, it does make me wonder if I should go into coaching. This author makes well over half a million helping out her 25 plus clients… crazy!

Very disappointed. 😦 Which is disappointing cuz her marketing was good.
