If I could write a whole book on working with your partner… I would. I acknowledge our strengths and our weaknesses. I recently brought on my partner to help me with writing a report. He got stuck in the weeds. I told him to put his head down and write, we will edit after.
He can verbalize it all to me… but when it came to writing it down… he got writer’s block.
I also learned he didn’t take notes when I was talking…. rookie mistake!
My biggest lesson learned is patience. I do not know how to show him patience. Because the way I learn is if I don’t know… I Google it. It’s a harder process but I also know this is how I learn.
He says he learns by watching me do it… but when it comes time to execute… he falter because he didn’t take notes.
I know I am taking him out of his comfort zone. I also know I need more patience. But Lord! Is it ever trying!
